Ciputra University Orientation Week 2022: Horizon
UC O-Week is the initial period before the start of the academic semester specifically designed to provide introduction and adaptation to new students who have just enrolled in Ciputra University.
O-Week 2022 is an orientation week event held by Ciputra University Surabaya to welcome new students. This event carries a theme entitled "Horizon". “Horizon” in this context refers to a deep understanding of the future directions and goals that students will pursue during their studies at the university. To get to the Horizon, we must overcome various obstacles in order get closer to the Horizon. In general, it means supporting academic interests, skills development, career exploration, and the broader search for identity. The O-Week Horizon is geared towards giving students a further new view of the potential and opportunities that they have, much like the "horizon" that stretches beyond. And this time we encourage you to pursue your horizon. "Horizon: with Hope, We Rise to Emblazon".
Horizon's Concept
The design concept for Horizon O-Week 2022 revolves around the metaphor of a transformative journey, symbolized by the horizon. This concept aims to visually and experientially capture the essence of self-discovery, personal growth, and the pursuit of knowledge that define the university experience. This main idea is then enhanced by incorporating brush strokes to symbolize the courage to create something new and colorful without fear.

The story of this Horizon begins with a fairly simple but restrained city in the middle of the wilderness, called the city of lucus. the people of lucus city use masks as their identity and traditional clothing. besides that, they also have a leader who is a dictator and is quite strict in ruling so that the city of lucus can continue to progress, named Mr. X. One day, when the city of Lucus commemorated its birthday, the government announced that people were required and emphasized by to take part in training so that they could survive in the country.

In essence, the Horizon O-Week website plays a crucial role in providing new students with the information they need to navigate their transition to university life successfully. By offering a centralized and easily accessible source of information, the website contributes to a smoother and more enriching start to their academic careers.
Horizon's Aftermovie
On this occasion, Publication Documentation Department Design and Documentation collaborated together to realize the best visuals for O-Week 2022. For that, we worked together from the storyline video to the aftermovie video in order to realize the expectations of many parties well.
